Super friendly staff, family owned and operated. Chile verde was really good and the carnitas torta was also very tasty.

Do not go out of your way to eat at this place, it's not worth the trip.
However... if you're already at Antonio's Nut House and you've had a few drinks, and you have the munchies, and you're willing to put up with waiting for Azteca to forget your order completely, and willing to wait for them to get a simple order such as microwaved nachos correct after three failed attempts, then by all means go for it.
Even then, don't order anything with ground beef. Taqueria Azteca's version is about one notch above canned dog food. Grody. Opt for the shelled peanuts instead. -

After seeing the mixed reviews, I came in not having the highest expectations, and was pleasantly surprised! Tasty tacos and fast, friendly service in a taqueria located inside a bar.
The al pastor and chicken tacos were both very good! I wasn't a fan of the carnitas taco, however.
You order at the counter, and they call out your order number when your food is ready. Our order taker was friendly, and the food came out quickly.
The taqueria is located inside the Nut House bar, so be prepared for a loud, dive-y setting.
Overall, a good spot for a quick, cheap meal near the Stanford campus! -

This taqueria is conveniently located inside a dive bar, Antonio's Nut House. This works well for those who want a bite to eat while drinking or if someone needs to sober up. My coworkers and I usually get orders of nachos to share for our group. Although I usually order carne asada at Mexican joints, I actually prefer the shredded chicken version for the nachos here. They are pretty yummy that I have found myself craving them. We have found, though, that the dish comes with insufficient chips. If you ask for extra chips with your order, they will charge you an extra $1, resulting in over $11 altogether with tax (which is pretty pricey compared to other taquerias).
TIP: Ask for the extra chips after you run out and still have toppings, so that they will give them to you for free. -

Made a stop here after taking an LDT and boy I didnt regret it
The chef was so nice and you can tell he enjoys his job. I got two soft steak tacos and a side of fries. The steak was so tender and the salsa was the right amount of heat. My partner got shrimp fajitas and they looked so yummy. I would definitely come again.
